2015 In Review

Once a year, I build up the courage to look back and see what photos have been left in my wake. And I force myself to choose 20 images for this annual review. Why 20? It’s subjective like most things in photography, but I hear that people tend to lose interest when presented with more than twenty things. So 20 it is.

As a New England photographer, I spend most of my time shuffling between our six states in search of grand landscapes. But in 2015, I was also fortunate to return to Iceland for some rugged winter photography. And this summer, I went back to the chromatic southwest and the grandiose Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

So, here are my 20 picks for 2015. I want to thank you for supporting my work and inspiring me to continue this lifetime endeavor. With all the trouble brewing in the world, I find solace in creating images that exude serenity and showcase our world at its best. Wishing you Happy Holidays and a glorious New Year!

    1. Translation: Great work! Many of my favorites, is a magnificent delight admirer so much beauty in a single picture!

  5. Your work is so amazing. Technically they are perfect, but more importantly they each hold a great amount of emotion. Bravo.

  6. Your photos are amazing. I have visited the USA many times, driven across it north, south, east and west and can visualise many of these wonderful scenes. There is so much beauty in the USA, including the wonderful people we met along our journeys.
My favourite photo has to be Horseshoe Bend, Arizona, never having gone there – we leave that till next time. Silverton, Colorado comes second – many memories of the wonderful Silver Dollar Highway to Ouray – beautiful country. Well done.

  7. I’ve seen some of these photos last year. They are all brilliant work but I prefer less of the spectacular sunsets. I love the peace and calm of the Full Moon Rising with the white church spire and the cattle quietly grazing in the field below in Vermont. My favourites are the skyscape in Ravens Nest (Where is the nest?) Schoodic Peninsula, Maine, Ice Cave in the Vatnajokul Glacier which I have admired before, Aurora seemingly emanating from Kirkjufell Mountain, and the Meteor Showerover the Swift River in New Hampshire. Thank you for sharing.
