Once a year, I look back upon my work to assess the damage. Well, it’s that time of year again. So, how does one select a mere 20 photos out of a catalog of 9000? Itâs neither easy nor scientific: I simply try to pick images that evoke strong emotion, like the above photo of Nubble Light in fog.
The New England photos in this article are my subjective picks from 2014. As I look over the list, I notice that lighthouses represent a big percentage of the total. That bias reflects my love of seascapes and the fact that all New England states, except Vermont, share a slice of the Atlantic Ocean.
So, here are my favorites from the last year. I also want to take this opportunity to thank you all for following and supporting my work. I promise to bring you more visual goodies in 2015.
